First-time DSLR owners can now experience the upgraded Rebel DSLR cameras from Canon. The Canon EOS Rebel T3i and Canon EOS Rebel T3 focus on the newcomers to DSLR. The Canon Rebel T3i has a swiveling LCD and a 3-inch display same as the Canon EOS 60D.
The Canon EOS Rebel T3i is the higher-end of the two, and comes with the newest DIGIC 4 image processor from Canon, and has an 18MP CMOS image sensor. The lens shipped with the unit, can be an EF-S 18-55mm, f/3.5-5.6 II lens with zoom. It is also available with body alone, if the lens is not required. The camera also provides wireless flash support and 1080p video recording.
The Canon EOS Rebel T3, can fit the same lens as the T3i, and uses the same DIGIC 4 processor. The T3 offers a 12.2MP CMOS image sensor. It can deliver 720p video recording. The screen is a fixed view of size 2.7-inches. The T3 gives a newbie an in-camera feature guide, which is useful for them to orient themselves quickly to the camera’s features.
Canon has given both cameras the 63-zone, dual metering system. This allows accurate metering exposures. Both cameras are compatible with SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards.
